Isso aqui tá um brasil! Um esporro lá fora. O som chega no meu quarto com 70 decibeis. Fica complicado pra dormir. Já é meia noite. A seleção musical tá bacana, mas eu tô com sono. Fui ler na internet e achei um caso que envolve um brasileiro nos EUA. Quando o barulho não é com a gente, as histórias são pra rir. Copio pra vocês. E a música segue lá fora…

This is the same in our house. we live in a duplex-type house and the breaker is in our side. My neighbor is a 31 year old recently divorced Brazilian man who likes to go to clubs and bring back a bunch of random people to party at 2:30 am. So these people drive (presumably drunk) to our house with their shitty music blaring, then yell and scream and go in the house and turn on the shitty music hella loud. Worst part? My bedroom backs up to his living room wall where the stereo system is set up and the walls are super thin.
I’ve known the guy for years, we used to be good friends so I’ll give him a courtesy text at about 3 and tell him that it’s way too loud and please turn it down. He will oblige, I’ll hear people go “awwww, c’mon bro!” and he’ll say “sorry guys, the neighbors are trying to sleep, their room is right here.” to which they’ll respond “dude, fuck your neighbors!” Every. Time. He’ll go outside to have a cigarette and the people will turn it back up again, usually louder, and I’ll text him one more time. By that time his phone is usually dead and people are stomping around and just being assholes, so I’ll get up and go shut off his power. Everyone freaks out and starts thinking the stereo blew up, my neighbor explains that everyone was being too loud so the neighbors shut the power off and then they get all pissy. I’m sorry, it’s 4 am on a Tuesday. Go home.
I’ve gotten some pretty nasty letters on my car before. My favorite was “You’ll rot in hell you stupid cunt. I hope you get raped. You are the lowest kind of person and deserve to die.” I showed it to my neighbor and he’s slowed down considerably on the partying for the last couple of months.

That actually sounds like a very healthy neighbor relationship.
